Chicopee, MA
September 4, 2018
A small town with a funny name in Massachusetts. Famous to me when I lived in Upstate NY because, it was the closet Chic-fil-a. I stopped here more times than I can remember for that purpose. But only once stopped to see the streets and historic buildings.
Tiny Art
Probably the most “Artsy” art studio I’ve seen. A unique building fitting perfectly between the street and the parking lot.
The White Door
I’m not sure what first caught my eye with this one. It could be that I was unsure if people were living here. I saw the AC units in the windows but, I also saw the boarded up windows on the bottom
Chicopee Public Library
New England has got some great architecture throughout the 6 states. Here in Chicopee this one definitely has some history.
City Hall
I took these because I love to shoot churches. Even though city hall has taken over its clear to see this was something else once before. Also the stain glass windows are sadly covered up..
Store Front
I have to say this wasn’t my favorite town to be in. I got yelled at and then spit at by a man walking by. I was careful not to point my camera in his direction but still continued to be yelled at. When you’re in a place for such a short time and that happens, it kind of sticks with you.
Church on the Hill
An actual New England Church.
Church and Office
Not a typical New England Church but, beautiful nonetheless
Sunset View
I always like to have a sunset view.

Just add paint
The Green House
Some of the streets of Chicopee.
Coffee?
Finding a local coffee shop while on the road always makes those few moments of a day a little better.
